The Dutch operation of Danish firm Terma and Fokker Services, Nedaero, NLR and Thales have signed a letter of intent with the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) to establish a Center of Excellence Logistic Center at Woensdrecht Air Base.

The Center of Excellence will support the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fighter jet program with specific focus on the so-called LM-STAR test capabilities and maintenance repair overhaul. The agreement was signed at the Dutch Industry for Defense and Safety (NIDV) symposium on 19 November in Rotterdam.

Cooperation includes sharing test equipment, infrastructure, personnel, knowledge and experience. Part of the activities will be performed at the Logistic Center at Woensdrecht.
