The PC-21 training aircraft of Pilatus Aircraft has been selected by the Australian authorities in order to meet the requirement of Project Air 5428 aimed for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).

The PC-21 aircraft has been in service with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) at RAAF Air Base Pearce in Western Australia since 2008 and is also operated by the air forces of Switzerland, the UAE, Saudi-Arabia and Qatar.
