Oshkosh Defense announced it is clear of the legal challenge related to its 4×4 Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) production contract award after Lockheed Martin withdrew its protest from the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

The JLTV USD6.7 billion production contract calls for Oshkosh Defense to deliver nearly 17,000 protected vehicles to the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps, as well as kits and sustainment services over an eight-year period. The JLTV will progressively replace the AM General HMMWV fleet.
