Turkis privately-owned firm BMC Savunma, Germany’s Rheinmetall Defence and the Malaysia-based holding company Etika Strategi announced that they launched a Turkey-based joint venture with a view to cooperation in armored solutions.

BMC Savunma has supplied hundreds of Kirpi 4×4 protected carriers to Turkish Land Forces Command (TLFC) and foreign countries. The company also is competing to carry out serial production of initial batch of Altay main battle tank.
