The U.S. Marine Corps accepted delivery of its 50th KC-130J Super Hercules aerial refueler at the Lockheed Martin facility on August 18. This aircraft is assigned to U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California.

The aircraft was designed to deliver fuel to a multitude of platforms, from helicopters to the F-35B Lightning II fighter jet.
