The T-129 ATAK attack helicopters being received from TUSAŞ by Turkish Land Forces Command will be armed with UMTAS and laser-guided L-UMTAS long-range air-to-surface anti-tank missiles developed by Turkish state-owned firm Roketsan.

Both are equipped with tandem warhead and can be used in fire and forget and fire and update modes. They were designed to engage armoured vehicles either tracked or wheeled.
