The U.S. State Department has approved a possible foreign military sale to Finland of equipment worth USD156 million to support the mid-life upgrade of Boeing F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets fielded by the Finish Air Force.

The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on December 2.

The possible sale oversee the delivery of 90 MID-JTRS (Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System) systems, software test and integration center upgrades, flight testing, spare and repair parts, support and test equipment, transportation, publications and technical documentation, personnel training and training equipment.
