The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) signed an agreement with the USA to acquire air-launched precision guided munitions on behalf of a multinational cooperation framework that brings together Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and Spain.

Under the agreement, the participating nations will obtain an initial batch of precision guided munitions intended for delivery between 2017 and 2019.

A subsequent round of acquisition is anticipated to be launched in 2017. It will also incorporate Poland, which became the ninth member of this framework in October 2016.
