BAE Systems Hägglunds has received a contract from the Netherlands Defence Materiel Organisation, the DMO (Defensie Materieel Organisatie) for the testing and verification of Israel Military Industries (IMI) Iron Fist active protection system on the CV9035NL tracked infantry fighting vehicles of the Royal Netherlands Army.

The Iron Fiest is an solution consisting of countermeasures that can intercept incoming rocket-propelled grenades, anti-tank missiles, and other threats to increase crew and vehicle survivability. It uses radar to detect and track threats.

The vehicles were earlier equipped with Saab Grintek Defence LEDS 50 (Land Electronic Defence System) integrated laser warning system.
