General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) is currently carrying the pre-production build and test of the MCV (Multirole Combat Vehicle) 8×8 armored vehicle.

The new vehicle which is an evolution of GDLS LAV 700 8×8 armored vehicle range, feature a new driveline, enhanced double-V hull with an upper chassis designed to support up to Level 6 protection kits, 711 hp Caterpillar C13 diesel engine, fully automatic transmission, energy attenuating seats, 16.00R20 tyres or low ground pressure 24R21 tyres with central tyre inflation system and runflat inserts, latest generation independent suspension on all axles using hydro-pneumatic struts, GVA-compliant digital electronic architecture based on CANBUS vetronics layer fast Ethernet LAN, onboard diagnostics and data logging and adaptive power distribution system, as well as provision for modular armor add-on kit, smoke grenade launchers and remote weapon stations or manned turret.

MCV feature gross vehicle weight of 35 t, payload of 14,3 t, length of 8.1 m, width of 3 m, top speed of 115 km7h and maximum autonomy of 1000 km. It is available in different variants.
