MBDA UK was awarded a £323 million deal for next batch of CAMM (Common Anti-air Modular Missile) air defence missiles for United Kingdom’s British Army and Royal Navy.

The CAMM will be deployed using the Sea Ceptor and Land Ceptor weapon systems. The Sea Ceptor system will replace the Sea Wolf system on the Type 23 frigates and provide the anti-air defence capability on the Type 26 frigates for the Royal Navy. The Land Ceptor system will replace the Rapier system in service with the British Army.
