Alenia Aeronautica SpA and the Bulgarian Defence Ministry signed a framework agreement for the supply of logistic support services to the C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft operated by the Bulgarian Air Force.

Within the ten year agreement, a first contract has been signed for the supply of logistic support services, for a five-year period, worth totally EUR 25 million. Bulgaria has procured three aircraft to the aerospace manufacturer owned by the Italian group Finmeccanica SpA.
