Royal Thai Army (RTA) Alvis Vickers Limited (now BAE System Global Combat Systems) Scorpion light tracked tanks to be upgraded will include PRC-525 combat net radios and ICC-201 vehicular intercom systems from the Portuguese company Empresa de Investigação e Desenvolvimento de Electrónica SA (EID).

A similar combination is installed in the 260 GDELS-Steyr GmbH PANDUR II wheeled armoured vehicles procured by Portugal.
