U.S. giant Boeing Company and Brazil´s Embraer Defense & Security have firmed an agreement to collaborate on the KC-390 tactical transport aircraft program.

Under this agreement signed on 26 June in São Paulo, Brazil, both companies will share some specific technical knowledge and evaluate markets where they may join their sales efforts for medium-lift military transport opportunities.

The Brazilian Air Force ordered 28 aircraft to Embraer Defense & Security while countries such as Portugal, Chile, Colombia, Argentina and the Czech Republic firmed letters of intents to procure some units.
